Announcements From The President
I spoke with V.P. of Finance Sara Bradford, and we need to know once again who volunteered to assist with the Surplus Spending over the summer. We need to get started on this A.S.A.P.; we met as an SGA and decided which items we wanted to spend the surplus on, so we need to get P.O.s for the items and go shopping.

Tentative Activity Dates for Next Year:
I had a meeting with Jennifer Bishop last week and we discussed SGA activities for next year and I established a few dates for activities next year. All of these dates can be found on the Google SGA Calendar.
SGA-Sponsored Welcome Week Activities:
August 19 - Welcome Week Picnic
August 20 - SGA-Sponsored Ice-Cream Social (on Rydex Commons)
August 24- End of the week TGIF C0-Sponsored by CPB(Special Themed Dinner in the Marketplace, and a Band on the East Lawn)
Band Ideas: Molly Ringwalds, 17th Floor, or possible Velcro Pigmies
Class Activities:
In my meeting with Jennifer, we also set the date of one class activity for each class. This activity can be very simple and we were hoping that as a part of the Fall Workshop, the class-time can be used in order to develop the ideas for the activity.
The tentative dates for class activities are as follows:
November 3- Junior Class Sponsored Event
November 10 - Sophomore Class Sponsored Event
October 13 - Senior Class Sponsored Event
October 20 - Freshman Class Sponsored Event

So I am one person for the surplus spending committee.
And when you say junior class [in reference to the events for each class] do you mean the CURRENT junior class or the UPCOMING junior class?
